FAQ – Tyvek Wristbands
What are Tyvek Wristbands?
Tyvek wristbands are a waterproof, tamper- proof and tear resistant wristband which allow easy identification for different groups of people. Tyvek wristbands can be used to monitor people who have paid for certain events, are allowed in certain areas, are part of a certain group, or pretty much any other identification purpose. Tyvek wristbands can be an effective way to promote offers for your company, identify jobs which need doing or have been done and create brand awareness.
Can I custom print my Tyvek wristbands?
Yes. We offer an innovative custom printed Tyvek wristbands designer which allows you to add text and logos to any of our wristbands. The printable area on each wristband is limited to 18mm by 200mm on a 25mm wristband and 12mm by 200mm on the 19mm Wristband. Please note that we do not print onto black wristbands – occasionally a customer will wish to have black print onto black wristbands which is why we leave the option up – but this is specialist. If you wish to see the text then please do not select black as your base colour. This also applies to any logo upload, we will not print in white onto a black wristband. Your wristbands may not arrive in sequential order, we buy in the millions and although they will have an individual 6 or 7 digit security number these may not be sequential and will not start from 000001. If you require sequential numbering then please get in touch before placing your order.
How many different colours do you offer, and what are your print options?
We offer 16 different colours in both sizes of wristband. We offer colour printing on our wristbands but we recommend that you only print colour on white wristbands. The coloured wristbands will fail to show the colour print in its true entirety. If you upload a logo, please ensure the logo is of a darker colour than the wristband colour – if you are unsure as to how your logo will show on a colour band, please email us for advice. We cannot be responsible for the way your logo will look on a band once the band has been produced. Please be aware that we cannot print onto black wristbands and we cannot print in white onto a coloured wristband. Again if you are unsure please drop us a line at info@aawristbands.co.uk.
Can I have my company logo on the wristband? What other logos do you offer?
We happily print logos onto your wristbands. If you have one you would like us to print, simply upload the logo through the function on the wristband designer. If you cannot do this then mention it in extras and email it to us at images@aawristbands.co.uk, along with your order number in the subject area. We also offer a selection of custom logos from which you may choose from the ‘logo’ choice on our customiser. Please Note, if you upload a block logo which contains white, we may invert it as we do not block print in black, we overprint onto the wristband. Any white on a logo will show as the colour of the wristband.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the logo is uploaded. If you select the option ‘upload logo’ and do not upload a logo we will print the wristband as per the text only. The logo will show on the customiser, a link will also show below the option when it is uploaded correctly.
How long will I have to wait for my wristbands?
At AA Wristbands, customer service is our forte. We aim to despatch all orders within 24 hours. Depending on the shipping option, most customers receive their orders within 48-72 hours of placing them. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are worried about delivery times, or have not received your order.
How are my wristbands shipped?
As a company we use Royal Mail. For smaller orders we ship using royal mail’s second class delivery. For larger orders, we ship using recorded delivery, so please make sure somebody is available to sign for the delivery. We hold proof of postage on every order we send out. For guaranteed next day delivery, please select this option through the website and the price will be adjusted accordingly. For Next Day delivery, we have a cut off of 1pm Guaranteed (to allow printing time and allow us to meet our Royal Mail collection time), on orders over 2000 this may not be possible, if you are unsure please get in touch. Any orders placed after 1pm on next day delivery may be despatched the following day if we cannot get them printed in time to despatch same day. If you are ordering on a Friday and require your wristbands for the Saturday, please select Saturday Guaranteed delivery – it costs slightly more but next day delivery will not guarantee a Saturday delivery.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Yes we do. Simply go through the process to the ‘checkout’ stage, select the country you are based in and add in your details as normal. The system will then calculate the shipping charge and your total cost will be added to the bottom of the screen.
I am not happy with my wristbands, what should I do?
In the first instance please contact us via email (info@aawristbands.co.uk) and we will do everything we can to resolve the problem.
How do you keep your prices so low?
By keeping our costs to a minimum and letting our customer service do the work, we are able to offer you the most competitively priced custom printed Tyvek wristbands around. In order to maintain this and pass the savings onto you, we print our website on the inside of most of our wristbands (this cannot be seen when the wristband is worn). If you would prefer your wristbands without our branding on the inside, please contact us for a quote using the email address on the contact us page. Please note we may also send wristbands out not sequentially numbered, if you require sequential numbering please contact us prior to ordering. The price you pay does not include a proof. We can provide a proof on orders above 2000 at your request, on orders below 2000 we can provide a proof at a cost of £5. Again, please contact us if you have any queries.
